CULTURE WORKS AT DMC
A New Chapter for an Iconic Space
In 2026, CW Events, a subsidiary of Culture Works, began managing and booking the performances and events within the Dayton Masonic Center. This new venture brings experienced venue management and cultural programming expertise to one of Dayton’s most significant architectural landmarks.

About Culture Works
Culture Works is the Dayton Region’s United Arts Fund and Local Arts Agency. For decades, the organization has served as a funding, advocacy, and service leader for arts and culture across the region.
As the largest provider of general operating support for many nonprofit arts organizations in Dayton, Culture Works strengthens the local arts ecosystem through grantmaking, partnerships with corporations and foundations, and community-centered initiatives.
In 2020, Culture Works launched CW Events to activate large-scale venues as revenue-generating cultural spaces. This model not only supports weddings, performances, galas, and corporate gatherings, but also reinvests revenue into arts funding and programming throughout the region.
The Dayton Masonic Center offers two large theater spaces, a 500-person ballroom, and a collection of distinctive historic rooms. With event management provided by CW Events, the Center is positioned to:
-
Welcome more local and regional arts organizations
-
Expand access to performances, concerts, and competitions
-
Deliver exceptional private and corporate events
-
Generate sustainable revenue that strengthens the regional arts community
This approach ensures that the Dayton Masonic Center remains both a preserved historic landmark and an actively engaged cultural destination.
